T.I. And Ciara Heat Up The Summer’s Biggest Party—SCREAMFEST ‘07
Atlanta, GA--If you want to know what’s hott to Young America, then look no further than the SCREAM TOUR...the newest cell phones, the latest ringtones, the hottest cars and the biggest stars. In every arena--sports, politics, TV, movies, technology, business- you have that one person, place or thing that dominates its class, that stands heads above the rest and sets the standard and the course for everything else to follow. When it comes to the summer concert series, that one thing is the SCREAM TOUR.
Over the past 7 years, the SCREAM TOUR has become synonymous with showcasing the best that the R&B and Rap world has to offer to thousands of screaming youth. Year after year, the SCREAM TOUR series continues to bring bigger stars, bigger productions and bigger crowds together in cities across the country. This summer's show will be no different. This year's SCREAM TOUR, aptly titled SCREAMFEST '07, has confirmed an all-star lineup of talent, including one of the most successful R&B stars of this era; the sexy and electrifying-Ciara. Also starring on the SCREAM stage this summer will be one of the hottest rappers of our time, two time Grammy award winning-T.I. After dominating record sales in 2006, T.I. will be gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated fifth studio album entitled "T.I. vs T.I.P." which will be released on July 3rd. As for Ciara, after receiving numerous awards including a Grammy, AMA, Billboard and others, her certified platinum second album, "Ciara: The Evolution" was released on December 5, 2006, and debuted at number one selling more than 338,000 copies in its first week. Supporting acts for the tour are forthcoming and will be announced in the coming weeks. Producers also confirm that there will be other special guest performers in cities along the way.
Whether it’s bonafide young stars in the R&B and rap world, or establishing those on the brink of stardom and even those hoping to break into the industry, the SCREAM TOUR sets the stage for them all. From Ne-Yo to Bow Wow, B2K, Chris Brown, Nick Cannon, Pretty Ricky and Omarion, they all have hit the SCREAM TOUR stage and are apart of the notable line-up of SCREAM TOUR alumni.
This year’s SCREAM TOUR is being produced and marketed by Michael Mauldin and Mauldin Brand Agency for SCREAM Star Entertainment and promoted by Jeff Sharp for AEG Live and Atlanta Worldwide Touring. SCREAM Star Entertainment is a multi-dimensional, youth focused artist development platform, which for the past seven years has focused its attention on reaching the youth through its ‘LIVE’ concert model—the SCREAM TOUR.
“We are, without a doubt, catering to the youth and giving them something to SCREAM about; making their summer unforgettable via a ‘LIVE’ show,” said Mauldin. “The SCREAM TOUR has become synonymous with bringing the youth’s favorite artists and the best live stage show to their city.”
SCREAMFEST ‘07 is slated to kick off in late July and is scheduled to hit 24 cities on the tour. Complete routing for the tour will be confirmed in the coming weeks, however the producers have confirmed that the tour will be going to all the favorite SCREAM TOUR hot spots, including Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Miami, Detroit, Baltimore and DC, just to name a few.
