Bad Boy Records has announced the upcoming release of "Exclusive (No Excuses)," the eagerly anticipated debut single from the finalists featured on the hit MTV series, Making The Band 4. The track - produced by multiple Grammy Award-winner Bryan Michael Cox (Usher, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey) - will be available at all digital services beginning next Tuesday, October 2nd.
"Exclusive (No Excuses)" introduces Brian Andrews, Mike McCluney, Qwanell Mosley (aka "Q"), Robert Curry, and Willie Taylor - the five talented performers chosen by Bad Boy CEO Diddy and MTV viewers around the world on the blockbuster Making The Band 4 finale last month. The single also includes the live ballad version of "Exclusive (No Excuses)," performed by the as-yet-unnamed quintet and additional MTB4 finalist Donnie Klang on the series' final episode. The gifted young Klang did not make the new group's final line-up, but was offered a surprise solo contract by Diddy, stunning and delighting MTB4 fans everywhere. All six finalists are currently in the studio, hard at work on debut albums scheduled for release in 2008.
MTV's live season finale of Making The Band 4 proved to be one of the summer's biggest successes, reaching over 5.1 million viewers upon its initial broadcast on Sunday, August 26th. The show was the most watched telecast for the night across all of television, even surpassing the broadcast networks. In addition, the entire season of Making The Band 4 was MTV.com's top show on Sundays and Mondays, as viewers went online to check out the exclusive "After Show," read recaps, see special photo slideshows, and more. The day following the live finale event, MTV.com logged nearly 1 million streams of the Making The Band 4 broadcast.

in stores today
First Single "Hydrolics," Is "Most Downloaded" on YouTube.com
with more than 940,000 views
Group to perform "Hydrolics" this week on BET's 106 & Park with Bow Wow
New York, NY - September 11, 2007 - Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' B5 have announced the release today of their highly anticipated sophomore CD, "Don't Talk, Just Listen." The follow-up to their 2005 self-titled debut, the CD features tracks with more mature subject matter while not losing sight of the group's teen roots. "Hydrolics," the high-energy first single from the set, features Bow Wow and is heading into the top 20 on Billboard's Top R&B Airplay Chart, while the accompanying video clip has become a phenomenon on the Internet with more than 940,000 views on YouTube.com and 1.7 million myspace views. The video was "Most Downloaded" on YouTube.com in its first week.
The B5 Dance Contest on YouTube.com has been creating further excitement on the Internet for B5, along with their being chosen as a nominee for the AOL "Breakers" Campaign. Voting for AOL Breakers ends this month.
On "Don't Talk, Just Listen," B5 try their hand at songwriting on a few tracks, with the help of super-producers such as Bryan Michael Cox, Mario Winans, Soul Diggas, Danja, Blaze, The Underdogs, Insomoniax, and Mischke. The CD is executive produced by Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, Kevin Wales, and Harve Pierre.
B5's 2005 self-titled debut CD made an impressive debut at #19 in its first week of release on the Billboard 200 and also entered at #11 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The debut gave us the hit singles "All I Do" and "U Got Me," which peaked at Radio Disney at #9 and hung on the BET "106 & Park" Top 10 for weeks!
The Atlanta-based Breeding brothers - Dustin, Kelly, Patrick, Carnell, and Bryan Breeding - merge the old school flair, finesse, and energy of the Jackson Five with the modern day pop appeal of N'Sync. Ranging in age from 13 to 19, B5 are known for their flawless harmonies and high-energy stage shows - complete with tight choreography and acrobatics. Further expanding their fanbase in 2006, B5 appeared on the 4x platinum "High School Musical" soundtrack with the song "Get'cha Head in The Game." "Get'cha Head in The Game" went from #100 to #23 on the Billboard Hot 100 in its second week of release.
B5 spent this summer traveling across the country on a 30-city bus tour sponsored by the Russ Parr Morning show and packed the house in every city. The tour also featured Young Berg and Huey.
Look for B5 on BET's "106 & Park" this week performing "Hydrolics" with Bow Wow.

GORILLA ZOE DECLARES "ZOO" TIME;
ATL RAPPER OPENS THE CAGE AND SETS DEBUT ALBUM FREE;
COLLECTION FEATURES HIT SINGLE, "HOOD FIGGA";
STAR-STUDDED ROSTER OF SPECIAL GUESTS INCLUDES
YUNG JOC, DANITY KANE'S D. WOODS, BOYZ N DA HOOD;
"WELCOME TO THE ZOO" UNLEASHED ON SEPTEMBER 25TH
Block Entertainment/Bad Boy South recording artist Gorilla Zoe has announced details of his upcoming new album, "WELCOME TO THE ZOO." The ATL-based rapper's eagerly awaited debut collection - which features the banging hit single, "Hood Figga" - lands in stores and online on September 25th.
Zoe is quickly marking himself as one of the hottest, most original new voices in hip-hop, via his featured role on Block Entertainment/Bad Boy South labelmate Yung Joc's current hit single, "Coffee Shop," as well as by his recent membership in superstar rap combo Boyz N Da Hood (whose highly anticipated second album, "BACK UP N DA CHEVY," drops on October 2nd). He is also featured on "Bottle Poppin'," the latest single from Yung Joc's top-charting second album, "HUSTLENOMICS," which has just arrived at multi-format radio outlets across the country.
"I've been in the game for a while," says CEO of Block Entertainment, Russell "Block" Spencer. "I knew Zoe had the talent and ability to bring the Block Entertainment Movement to the next level."
"WELCOME TO THE ZOO" confirms Zoe's status as a major artist in his own right, chronicling the rapper's life experiences in Atlanta's concrete jungle. The album sees Zoe joined by such major-league special guests as Yung Joc, Block, D. Woods of Danity Kane, and his fellow Boyz N Da Hood (Duke, Big Gee, and Jody Breeze), with production from a incredible line-up of studio superstars, including Sha Money XL (50 Cent, Slim Thug, Paul Wall), Chris Flame (Yung Joc), Dee Jay Dana (Boyz N Da Hood, Yung Joc), and Drumma Boy (Juvenile, Young Jeezy, Paul Wall).
"One of my favorite albums is Dr. Dre's 'THE CHRONIC,'" says Zoe. "That's the kind of album I wanted to create. Something that can stand the test of time."
A true hip-hop anthem, "Hood Figga" is rapidly rising up the charts in multiple formats. The track is now #14 with-a-bullet at Urban radio outlets nationwide, while scoring top 30 play at Rhythmic. "Hood Figga" is also shaping up as a blockbuster ringtone, climbing to #13 on Billboard's latest "Hot RingMasters" ranking.
The song's companion video is currently blowing up at BET, where it is now in "Heavy" rotation on BET's Rap City. A special installment of Rap City focusing on the extraordinary Block Entertainment roster - which includes Zoe, Yung Joc, and Boyz N Da Hood - is stated to air on September 22nd (check local listings).
Gorilla Zoe and "Hood Figga" are also exploding across the MTV spectrum. "WELCOME TO THE ZOO" is currently streaming in its entirety - for one week only, through next week's official release date - as part of MTV.com's "The Leak" (located at www.mtv.com/music/the_leak). Meanwhile, the "Hood Figga" video is a current rotation favorite at MTV2, where it received an "Unleashed" all-day premiere earlier this summer. In addition, "Hood Figga" can be seen in "Sizzlin" rotation at MTV Jams, with additional cable airplay on Music Choice.
Zoe spent much of his summer paving the way for "WELCOME TO THE ZOO" by joining Yung Joc on stage for a number of dates on BET and Scream Star Entertainment's "Screamfest '07." The ATL-based rapper also teamed with Joc for a series of high-profile TV appearances, including visits to ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live, and MTV's Making The Band 4.

What's more, the collection - which features the current hit single, "Coffee
Shop (Feat. Gorilla Zoe)" - arrives at #3 on the Billboard 200.
The Grammy Award-nominated rapper celebrated last Tuesday's release of "HUSTLENOMICS" with a hometown in-store appearance at Best Buy's Morrow, Georgia location. The autograph session proved a huge success, with Yung Joc signing copies of the album for hundreds of fans and friends.
"Coffee Shop (Feat. Gorilla Zoe)" is undoubtedly one of the summer's biggest hip-hop hits. The track has bulleted into the top 30 at Urban radio outlets and into the top 20 on the Rap charts, while also scoring major airplay at Rhythmic stations.
The song's companion video - directed by Lenny Bass (Boyz N Da Hood, Field Mob, Nappy Roots) - is currently the week's #1 "Most Played" clip on BET, following its network debut via a special installment of Access Granted earlier this summer. The clip is also a current rotation favorite at MTV2, MTV Jams, MTV Hits, Fuse, and Music Choice.
"Bottle Poppin' (Feat. Gorilla Zoe)," the follow-up single from "HUSTLENOMICS," recently arrived at multi-format radio outlets across the country. A companion video is now in production, with its premiere slated in the coming weeks.
Following up on the blockbuster success of last year's RIAA platinum-certified debut album, "NEW JOC CITY," "HUSTLENOMICS" confirms Joc's status as one of today's most ingenious and accomplished hip-hop artists. The album sees the 24-year-old MC collaborating with a who's-who of studio stars, including the Neptunes, Chris Flash, Cool & Dre, Jazze Pha, Kevin "Khao" Cates, Drumma Boy, Dee Jay Dana, and others. Along with the aforementioned Boyz N Da Hood member Gorilla Zoe, Joc is also joined by a series of special guests, including Russell "Block" Spencer, Diddy, The Game, Snoop Dogg, Trick Daddy, Bun B, Rick Ross, Jim Jones, Young Dro, and Pharrell.
"This album shows growth and maturity," says Joc. "I'm just expressing myself with different types of songs and different types of flows. A lot of cats think once you get on you get to make money, do shows, go to all the parties, and all this. There's a lot more to it than that."
In addition to its CD and digital release, "HUSTLENOMICS" marks Bad Boy Records' first-ever release in the new MVI format. An MVI is a DVD that contains the full album, portable music files, video content, and interactive features. The PC/MAC-compatible package includes a bonus CD, a never-before-seen video interview with Joc, exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, a making-the-video special for "Coffee Shop," digital extras (such as screen savers, buddy icons, and wallpapers), U-Myx and UrTone (which allow fans to create their own custom remix and ringtone of "Coffee Shop"), plus much more.
Yung Joc spent his summer preparing the way for "HUSTLENOMICS" by joining the all-star bill for BET and Scream Star Entertainment's "Screamfest '07." The tour - which
also featured such superstars as T.I., Ciara, and T-Pain - wrapped up this past weekend with a packed-out two-night-stand at Los Angeles' Gibson Amphitheatre.
What's more, the ATL-based MC made number of major TV appearances celebrating the new album's release. Among the highlights were visits to BET's 106th & Park, ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live, and both MTV's TRL and Making The Band 4. Other recent TV spots include multiple appearances on BET (including Rap City, the annual BET Music Awards, and 106 & Park's "Scream Tour" Special), and NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Later this month, Joc is headed across the Atlantic for the UK's influential MOBO Awards 2007, where he will team up onstage with T-Pain on his #1 hip-hop smash, "Buy U A Drank (Shawty Snappin')." The blockbuster track has also just received a "Song of the Year" nomination from the upcoming VH1 Soul Vibe Awards, with star-studded ceremonies scheduled for a November 14th premiere on VH1 Soul (check local listings).

The release of "HUSTLENOMICS" follows Yung Joc's amazing 2006, a year which saw him rise up from the streets of College Park, Georgia to the platinum-certified heights of hip-hop stardom. Fueled by the massive hit single, "It's Goin' Down," the rapper's RIAA platinum-certified debut album, "NEW JOC CITY," exploded onto Billboard's "Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums" and "Top Rap Albums" charts, entering in the #1 spot upon its June release.
"It's Goin' Down" proved to be a mainstream breakthrough for Yung Joc, moving quickly from underground sensation to the top of Billboard's "Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs" chart and the top 3 on Billboard's "Hot 100." In early 2007, the track received one of music's highest accolades - a Grammy Awards nomination as "Best Rap Song."
The street anthem's companion video also proved a blockbuster, topping the playlist at BET, which named "It's Going Down" as "Hip-Hop Track of the Year" at the inaugural BET Hip-Hop Awards event. At MTV, the clip scored Big Ten rotation and was ranked as one of MTV2's "Top 100 Sucker Free Videos of 2006."
Furthermore, "It's Goin' Down" was an out-and-out triumph in the ringtone world. With over 5 million ringtones sold, Yung Joc was Warner Music Group's #1 mobile artist for 2006.
Yung Joc also reigned over the online world, spending much of summer 2006 as MySpace's #1 artist. He also became an in-demand live act, with concert appearances including a sold-out MySpace Secret Show in his native Atlanta, an SRO tour alongside Grand Hustle/Atlantic recording artist T.I., and a top spot on the "Scream Tour 5," BET's hugely successful multi-artist arena trek. Other onstage highlights included a performance of "It's Goin' Down," during the main event ring walk at Don King's Gateway to Glory boxing event in St. Louis and an appearance on BET's annual 106 & Park New Year's Eve extravaganza.
As if all that weren't enough, Yung Joc made guest appearances on a number of the year's biggest tracks, including Danity Kane's top 10 smash, "Show Stopper," and Lil' Boosie's top 20 hip-hop hit, "Zoom."
Yung Joc can currently be seen in a major national print ad campaign promoting the Rockport Company's "Established 1971" collection. The promotion sees Yung Joc appearing in a variety of high-profile magazines alongside such rising stars as actor Wood Harris, R&B artist Lyfe Jennings, and MTV personality Coltrane Curtis.
